There is no bad side with these rings. Did I mention that they are very feminine? When I made the prototype design, I, the hiker, biker, and tomgirl put them on just to see how they looked. I'd never worn such a girly feminine ring. Wow, I was in love. Needless to say they did not make it to the display. They made it a one way ticket onto my hand.  If you have a simple straight edges band ring, you can get two eternity bands that match each other and put one on each side of your existing band. If you will use the eternity bands on their own, start with three. Pick a wider or more ornate center band and two thinner outer bands and wear them together.
